Summary: This article
briefly talks about Carolyn and her experiences on the Pacific Crest Trail. As
a child she only remembered walking a path surrounded by blue flowers. However,
she, her mom, her relatives, and friends backpack for a week each summer. On one
of their trips, they encountered a bad downpour of snow. Additionally, as she
got older, she learned many different things on her own and loved to travel
many trails. Carolyn and Cheryl relates to each other because they both
experienced the life of the PCT and noticed how difficult it can be, especially
as a female. However, Carolyn mainly spent her life around the PCT and many
